From December 2013, Costco’s board of directors was chaired by co-founder Jeffrey H. Brotman and included James Sinegal, co-founder and director, and two officers of the company: president/CEO W. Craig Jelinek and CFO Richard A. Galanti. On August 1, 2017, Jeffrey Brotman died. As of August 2017, James Sinegal and W. Craig Jelinek remained on the board. Jim Sinegal stepped down in 2018.
In 2011, Costco’s highest-volume store was located in Seoul, South Korea. As of 2018, the store in Taichung, Taiwan, had the highest number of members and ranked second in sales volume, behind the Yangjae store in Seoul, South Korea. I signed up as an Executive Member at Costco and applied for the Citi Card. The card never came to my home. I went to the Costco store in Green Bay, WI for assistance. I met with Georgia who proceeded to make it her life’s mission to fix the problem. Not only did she contact Citi Bank to secure my card, but she also contacted me two days later informing me the card was “on the way!” This is how customer service should work. Thank you, Georgia!
I like Costco because it has multiple brands for one thing like, yesterday I visited Costco and I was looking for beef and I saw multiple brands of beef giving me a lot of varieties of beef to choose from. The reason I took one star off was because the customer service didn’t let me return the items I had just bought. This hurt my feelings because they witnessed me buying the item.

Just had Costco deliver a stove and microwave. Costco let us know the night before the time of delivery. They use Riley’s Company in Knoxville to install their appliances and we never had such a positive experience. So happy.
The prices are fantastic and they take most insurances. The glasses come in on time with no problems! I purchase all of our glasses through Costco. They have name-brand frames as well as Kirkland-brand glasses and sunglasses.
